Family shoot suggestions:

When choosing outfits for a family shoot, it can be easiest to start by choosing a color scheme, and then choosing outfits for moms and daughters first. Once the girls’ outfits are coordinated, dads and sons can be added in later; they can be in a dress shirt, tee shirt, polo, or linen shirt with jeans or pants in any coordinating color or in white, and they will easily fit into any outfit scheme. Specific requests: In addition to a bunch of requests for family shoot suggestions, I had a couple of very specific requests on Instagram so here are my thoughts!

Q: “I am looking for mom clothes that exceed spandex but allow for chasing kids.” A: What about these shorts from Club Monaco (I have them and wear them to casual summer shoots all the time) with a breezy tank, or a linen shift dress (so easy to throw on and go)?
