Family Stories: Chace and Carys

Over the years, so many families have said that one of the most important benefits to my family photography subscription is getting to look back and see their children grow up through my lens. I hope you enjoy these photos of adorable Chace and Carys and this trip down memory lane.

First up are Carys’s newborn photos:

When Carys was six months old, their family did a four generations shoot with their cousin, aunt and uncle, grandma, and great-grandma. (Do you recognize their cousin, Dakota?)

Our next shoot was a shoot at home that spring. We started with photos of Carys, and then added Chace in when he got home from school; he had so much fun walking in to find that his house was full of balloons! His jumping shots here are some of my favorite photos of him.

Next up, Chace’s hockey birthday party at Wollman rink in Central Park:

Followed by Carys’s first birthday celebration. The smash cake photos are a classic, but I especially love the sweet shots of Carys with her grandma.

Their last shoot that year was a fall shoot for their family’s holiday card:

The following spring, I photographed Carys’s second birthday with family portraits in the park the following afternoon.

Next up: beach photos in the Hamptons later that summer:

In 2020, we shot in Connecticut in the spring:

Family photos at their new house in the fall:

And a snow shoot during the season’s first snow in December!
